[Causeway Bay] Jinro Theme Store 眞露主題店 // Soju on the Fly!

Walking in Causeway Bay, you'll notice this vibrant store with frogs all over! Of course , doubling back, this is the mascot of Jinro, a well known soju brand from Korea! The store leads off with a cocktail bar full of different creations they've prepared just for the store! Soju mixed with cold brew, a berries concoction, mango mix, mojitos, and a few others to try! Moving further down, is an ig-able part of the store with the giant toad to pose with you as well as plenty of creative artwork to pose with alongside your soju creation! And while you sip, there's a wall full of swag to browse (if it takes your fancy)! Though the number of seats is quite limited. Now, moving back to the drinks! We got one concoction each, Ms.Pink and Cold Brew Soju! Ms. Pink has a robust strawberry taste and a tinge of peach thanks to the flavoured soju! The cream itself is part of the magic, with some peachy undertones which mixes quite well together. However, don't be surprised when you lift up your drink as it is quite light (weight) and for some people, it does present a "medicine-y" taste! The Cold Brew Soju is as it sounds. The brew they've got is quite strong and a bit bitter with the soju accenting it further. This drink I would definitely recommend having some street food to pair it with! Say the nearby fishball stands! Due to the nature of being a theme store, it's anyone's guess how long they will be around.
